David's specialties include mirror etchings. A complex, time consuming process resulting in stunning reflective art that has depth and detail. The process starts with a drawing of the picture on paper. The picture is transferred to the mirror by tracing it on to a substance called stone stencil which is glued to the backside of the mirror. David then cuts the picture with an knife and removes the stone stencil from areas to be etched by sandblasting.
